Can I disable interleaving on my connection?

Last Updated: 3rd of May, 2012

Yes you can disable interleaving on your Xnet connection.  You can email (help@xnet.co.nz) or call us (0800-14-9638) to request it be turning on or off,  please note it take 24 to 48 hours for your request to be processed.
Interleaving is on by default in most cases as helps stabilise your Internet connection.  Turning it off can help lower latency which is beneficial for latency sensitive applications eg. online games.
In some cases turning interleaving off may de-stabilise your connection and in the event of fault interleaving may need to be turned back on.
