For ease of setup use Manual Wireless Configuration option.
An SSID can be used here of your own choosing.
This setting helps identify which network to connect to when your computer searchs for available networks.
Make sure SSID Broadcast Enabled is ticked in order to be able to find your network.
And finally Network Enabled ticked to enable the service.
Click Save Settings.
To make sure that no one else can connect to your router you must enable security.
Usage from computers connected to your router wirelessly will count towards your billed data.
Under the heading Wireless is a sub-heading for “Wireless Security”
To enable security select a compatible option from Security Mode. (WPA2 is the most secure)
Enter a passphrase under “WPA Shared Key”
Note the password must be at least 8 characters in length and is case sensitive.
Complete this by clicking Save Settings again.
From here you should be able to find the wireless network from your computer/laptop and select connect.
You should be prompted for a network key or passphrase on the first connection only.
Once connected your computer should remember the settings and connect automatically from there on.
