Do I need to pay a 'Wiring Maintenance Charge'?

WXC is not offering a 'Wire Maintenance' contract. This is normally an "opt-out" charge applied by your current line provider. The wire maintenance payment allows customers who have a fault with their household wiring - i.e. on the customer's premise, to get the current line provider's technician to undertake the work at either no cost or a reduced rate. This includes additional wall jacks, etc.

WXC believes it is better off for customers to seek their own wiring supplier for the resolution of wiring faults, or additional wiring work. Most electricians are able to undertake this work - or there are specialist cabling companies available.
